CASE STUDIES

Edgbaston

This was a wedding at home in a large garden at a house in Edgbaston 2001.

The event was a traditional five course waitress served meal for 120 guests, with an additional 60 - 70 guest for an evening reception. The guests arrived through the house to a reception bar in a marquee on the patio (out of view) entering a reception Marquee (20ft x 20ft) via an open canopy from the patio. The guests then accessed the main Marquee (30ft x 70ft) -on the lower lawn- through a walkway (10ft x 20ft) which passed between two large flower beds.

The decor of the whole Marquee consisted of Ivory pleated linings with an ivory pelmet with spot-lighting & floral decorations in the roof. The Marquee was carpeted with charcoal marquee carpet, with a large hardwood dance-floor (15ft x 30ft) for Celtic dancing. The guests were seated at 5ft round tables with gold banquet chairs and seat pads.

The caterers serviced the whole event from an attached catering Marquee (10ft x 20ft) at the rear of the main Marquee.
