Help with an Event

Organizing a special event in a marquee can be a new experience. The thought beyond the first stages becomes daunting at best, even frightening. There are many questions that need to be answered and we can help with the problem.

How big a marquee?
Answer
Tell us about the event and we will advise, the only restriction is the size of the site.

Question
How long will I have the marquee?
Answer
For a weekend event, we erect the marquee at least one day prior (unless by arrangement) and dismantle at your earliest convenience (within reason).
We like to take down as soon after as possible so that we can inspect and make good for the next event.

What about insurance?
Answer
We have an 'All Risks' policy, which indemnifies the hirer for accidental and unavoidable loss or damage. It does not cover malicious damage or neglect. In addition we can offer Wedding and Event insurance, which covers financial loss.

Will it be cold inside?
Answer
We provide a range of accredited heaters that will heat a marquee as is necessary. In the summer heating is not always needed, however for late evening and the rest of the year it should be considered. We are happy to advise.

What about rose beds, fishponds, and statues etc?
Answer
Within reason we are able to cover most obstacles so long as the height and width are within the size of the marquee. It is not a great problem, but it does reduce the available space.

Why a marquee? What is the advantage?

In a marquee, you are in control of :

  • The decorations and colour schemes,
  • The entertainment,
  • The cuisine,
  • The bar,
  • The cost.

Are they clean and waterproof?
Answer
Yes & Yes. All of our equipment is maintained regularly and cleaned before every hire.
All the marquee covers are manufactured in our own workshops from high quality, 100% waterproof PVC.
